What is almond milk? It is a perfect milk substitute with good fats for the body and no lactose.
Keep that in your coffee if you want! And buy the unsweetened varieties!
Vanilla and banana ice cream (3 people)
4 dl almond milk / almond drink
4 tablespoons maple syrup
1 ripe banana
1 vanilla pod
1 large dash of vanilla extract
Mix almond milk and maple syrup in a bowl. Pour into two ice cube trays. Place in the freezer until they become ice cubes (preferably overnight).
Share the banana in smaller pieces. Add in a freezer bag in the freezer until frozen (preferably overnight).
Remove the milk ice cubes and banana pieces out of the freezer and mix in a strong blender.
Add vanilla from the rod and the vanilla extract.
